True Love

Madeline came back to the studio today, just as Ryan was begging me to go for another ride in her auto rickshaw. I leapt out of my chair and pulled her into my arms. I've never really hugged her like that. A hello or goodbye hug, but not this intense holding. God, she feels so perfect with my arms wrapped around her. "

Me: You okay?

Madeline St. James: *in my ear* Happy to see me?

I let her pull away. 

Me: You have no idea. Has Ryan shown you her new ride?

MSJ: I've been avoiding any non-work calls. Just figuring things out.

Me: Figured?

MSJ: Well, I figured out that you miss me. *laughs* Not much else. But I want to do a shot. I miss modeling more than I thought I would. 

It was only when Ryan came in and jumped into Madeline's arm for an intense kiss that I noticed she's wearing her wedding ring again.

Daz provided the wardrobe and set up the shot. Iray did the lighting—put lots of work on getting the heart placed just right (our friend Illustrator made the light mask). Photoshop and Nik, Jr. finished and toned the negatives. Nik, Jr. Seemed kind of surly. I wonder if he thought with Madeline away and Ryan living in the studio, he had a chance with her. Poor kid is delusional.
